Assessment
Data driving successful adult outcomes
Students transitioning to adulthood need guidance to help them determine their strengths, abilities, and interests and to make progress toward their employment, postsecondary education, training, and independent living goals.
A team of people, including those from the home, school, and community environments, work with the student through assessments that ultimately shape the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Assessments focus on areas including academics, self-determination, vocational interest and exploration, and adaptive behavior/independent living.
