DARS - Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services.  This is Virginia's VR agency who refers consumers for services.

ASD - Autism Spectrum Disorder.  A developmental disorder that can affect behavior and communication.  An Autism Spectrum Disorder is just that - a disorder.  It is not a disease or illness.
