Working collaboratively to develop and implement individualized transition services for young adults with developmental disabilities is challenging work. Project SEARCH, a nine-month community-based employment training program for high school students with developmental disabilities, offers new ways of thinking about collaborative partnerships and effective transition practices. Join us for the webcast as we explore how Project SEARCH helped to “bridge the gap” between school and adult service providers, students, and their families in Virginia. We’ll share easy-to-use strategies for increasing communication and collaboration between transition team partners and for improving the transition outcomes of young adults with developmental disabilities.
